THE NOBLE DEGREE [ FITH DEGREE ]

The Fifth Degree, the pinnacle of honor within the Knights of St. John International, symbolizes the culmination of extensive and distinguished service to both the Order and the revered Mother Church. This prestigious degree is conferred upon deserving members by the Bishop of the Diocese, in solemn ceremony held at the Cathedral of the Diocese or another designated location, in the esteemed presence of the Noble Grand Master, Temple Officers, and the Noble Degree Team.

Eligibility for this esteemed degree is reserved for Officers and Sir Knights of the Uniformed Rank, whose steadfast embodiment of Catholic principles through public demonstration has significantly enriched both the ecclesiastical functions of the Roman Catholic Church and the mission of the Knights of St. John International. Such individuals must have maintained a dedicated presence in uniform for a minimum of ten consecutive years.

Non-uniformed members and honorary members, whose steadfast commitment and substantial contributions have bolstered the endeavors of the Knights of St. John International and served the interests of our Holy Mother Church, are eligible for consideration after a continuous membership period of fifteen years or more.

Members of the Roman Catholic Clergy, whose invaluable service as Chaplains or Spiritual Advisors has greatly contributed to the Order's success, may seek nomination through written application, subject to the approval of the Bishop.

The conferral of the Fifth Degree is a ceremonious occasion, open to the public, and attended by fellow Knights, cherished family members, and esteemed friends, marking a profound celebration of dedicated service and unwavering devotion to the Order and the Church.
