Our Lady of Lourdes Commandery #926 is a proud unit of the Accra West Grand Commandery of the Knights of St. John International — serving its parish with faith, discipline, and Catholic action.
History
History — Our Lady of Lourdes Commandery #926 stands among the local commanderies of the Accra West Grand Commandery of the Knights of St. John International. Chartered under the patronage of Our Lady of Lourdes, the unit embodies the Order's ideals of faith, hope, and charity through parish service, drill, and brotherhood.
The commandery is assigned to the 1st Regiment and participates in district musters, regimental inspections, Grand Convention, feast day celebrations, and memorial masses. Members support altar service, guard of honour, ushering, and welfare outreach in partnership with clergy.
Parish — Our Lady of Lourdes Commandery Parish — Accra West Grand. Weekly meetings, degree formation, and officer elections keep the commandery active in the new evangelization mission of the Catholic Church in Ghana.
