Grand Convention 2022 — A Landmark Gathering

Members from across Accra West Grand gathered for strategic discourse, drill displays, and fellowship at our landmark convention — where tradition met the future in camaraderie, celebration, and Catholic knighthood.

Explore the Story
01 Fraternity

Families, cadets, juniors, and invited guests participate in the programme, making the convention both a working session and a homecoming for the entire Accra West family. Registration, transport, and accommodation are coordinated through commandery and auxiliary secretaries under the Grand Secretariat.

02 Leadership

The Grand President presides over opening ceremonies alongside the Grand Respected Sister, Grand Chaplain, and Board of Officers. District commanders present unit reports while auxiliary leaders share welfare, formation, and degree exemplification outcomes for the year.

03 Governance

Committee sessions address finance, ritual, discipline, youth, media, and social responsibility — shaping policy that guides every commandery and auxiliary through the new Grand year. Resolutions passed at convention become binding guidance for local units.

04 Discipline

Drill competitions showcase the precision and discipline that define KSJI ceremonial life. Commanderies parade in full regalia before Grand Military officers and inspection officers, competing for honours that are presented at the awards gala.

05 Heritage

The 2022 Grand Convention marked a landmark gathering where tradition met strategic planning — members engaged in comprehensive programmes designed to honour heritage while shaping the future of the Order in Accra West.

06 Participation

Announcements on dates, venue, and registration fees are published through the Grand Secretariat and posted on the AWGC news page. Commanderies are encouraged to confirm delegations early to secure lodging and parade slots.
