Knights and Ladies contribute to parish teaching ministries — supporting catechism, RCIA, marriage preparation, and ongoing formation in the Catholic faith.

Teaching is a core expression of the Order's motto: Faith, Hope, and Charity. Members with gifts for instruction serve in Sunday schools, sacramental preparation, and parish study groups.
Commanderies may organise short courses on KSJI history, Catholic social teaching, and scripture for members and parishioners. Auxiliaries lead sisters' fellowship sessions and family enrichment talks.
All teaching remains under the guidance of parish clergy and conforms to the doctrine of the Catholic Church.
