From Accra Grand to Accra West — our story since 2013
The Accra West Grand Commandery was created in 2013 from the erstwhile Accra Grand Commandery, which was divided into three Grand Commanderies to serve the growing KSJI family in Greater Accra.

The Accra West Grand Commandery was created in 2013 from the erstwhile Accra Grand Commandery, which was divided into three Grand Commanderies to serve the growing KSJI family in Greater Accra.
The Accra Grand Era
The erstwhile Accra Grand Commandery covered the entire jurisdiction of the Accra Ecclesiastical Province — six dioceses across Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, and Oti Regions.
Western Jurisdiction
Accra West Grand has jurisdiction over the western part of the Archdiocese of Accra, comprising three deaneries with over sixty-seven parishes, rectorates, and outstations.
A Living Order
Today Accra West Grand has thirty commanderies with over one thousand active knights, twenty-seven ladies auxiliaries with over nine hundred active sisters, twenty-four cadet commanderies (685 cadets), and twenty-one junior auxiliaries (509 juniors).
Boundaries & Districts
Three district commanderies (3rd, 6th, and 11th Districts) and three district auxiliaries coordinate local units. Accra West shares boundaries with Cape Coast Grand to the west, the Gulf of Guinea to the south, Koforidua–Ho Grand to the north, and Accra East Grand to the east.

2013 Division
Accra West Grand Commandery was carved from the erstwhile Accra Grand to serve the western deaneries of the Archdiocese of Accra.

Kaneshie, Mamprobi, and Kpehe deaneries — over sixty-seven parishes, rectorates, and outstations under one Grand family.
A Living Order
Thirty commanderies, twenty-seven auxiliaries, cadet corps, and junior units united in drill, devotion, and parish ministry.
