School Of the Knight
Leadership, ritual, and governance training institute
The School of the Knight equips officers, degree workers, and aspiring leaders with knowledge of Order history, governance, drill, and Catholic social teaching.
Graduates receive credentials recognized by the Grand Board for commandery and district appointments. The school also hosts workshops on media engagement, youth ministry, and welfare administration — preparing the Order for modern parish realities.
Annual intake is announced by the Grand Secretariat. Commanderies and auxiliaries nominate members for training based on office held or anticipated leadership roles in the coming year.
Classroom sessions blend lecture, case study, and practical drill. Participants leave with tools to strengthen their commanderies — from minute-taking to financial reporting and ceremonial command.
Alumni of the School of the Knight serve across districts, degree teams, and Grand committees — carrying forward a culture of competent, faithful leadership.
