Honoring St. John the Baptist — patron of the Order
Feast Day celebrates the nativity of St. John the Baptist with solemn Mass, procession, and fraternity — reminding every Knight and Lady of their patron's courage and fidelity.
Local units host communal meals, charity collections, and fellowship gatherings after liturgical celebrations. Feast day offerings often support Grand welfare projects, parish needs, and the less privileged within our communities.
The Grand Auxiliary coordinates ladies' participation in hospitality, decoration, and welfare while commanderies lead drill, guard of honour, and ceremonial duties at the altar and in public procession.
Cadets and junior auxiliaries join the celebration in age-appropriate roles — learning reverence, discipline, and pride in the Order's Catholic identity from their earliest years in KSJI.
Feast Day is both a spiritual homecoming and a public witness of faith. Parishes welcome the colourful regalia parade as a sign of knights and ladies committed to worship, charity, and community presence.
